Microsoft started to roll out the big Windows 10 Anniversary Update for PCs yesterday. It offers plenty of new features including new Cortana functionality, a brand new “Windows Ink” section of touch-friendly apps and new security functions. There’s a mobile version, too, and that’ll start rolling out on August 9.

Microsoft’s Lumia Twitter account in India spilled the beans on that date, though the Tweet has since been deleted.

The update will include new emoji and a universal version of Skype, The Verge explained, in addition to a new camera icon on the lock screen and tweaks to Action Center that prioritize alerts, among other things.

We expect Microsoft to provide more details on the update closer to August 9, so we’ll let you know as we hear more.
