A new wearable device is blurring the line between smartwatch and fitness tracker. The Polar M600 is a powerful workout companion that runs Android Wear software with a few extra enhancements.

On the fitness side, Polar’s offers some impressive new hardware including a powerful heart rate monitor with six LEDs, which should provide more accurate readings. It’s also waterproof so you can wear it while swimming.

The Polar M600 features a special Smart Coaching feature. There’s a custom-designed watch face that can quickly show how close you are to hitting daily goals. You get the full Android Wear experience as well, and it works with both Android and iOS devices.

The design is pretty simple with a silicone strap that’s removable and washable. The display features a 1.3-inch touchscreen protected by Gorilla Glass. There’s also a button in front that allows a user to quickly launch into training mode, along with a power button on the side. Other specs include a two-day 500mAh battery, 4GB of storage, 512MB of RAM, a MediaTek processor, GPS and Bluetooth.

The Polar M600 is set to launch later this summer for $329, and you can grab extra bands for $30 each. It’s available in black and white, with a red version coming sometime down the line.
