Professor Layton fans excited about the series’ return with the recently announced Lady Layton: The Millionaire Ariadone’s Conspiracy need not worry about missing out due to localization issues. Level-5 has confirmed that the game will be coming to the English speaking world in 2017.

Both the Nintendo 3DS and mobile versions are planned for localization. This latest game replaces the iconic Professor Layton with his daughter, and she is on the case to find him after a mysterious disappearance.

The story will focus less on dynamic problem-solving and more on solving multiple mystery cases observed in the everyday lives of Londoners.

Level-5 says that game will have “a faster tempo and more comical tone.” It hopes fans will find this game “funnier than ever” but not at the sacrifice of “maintaining an adventurous quality.”

Lady Layton: The Millionaire Ariadone’s Conspiracy will be released for the Nintendo 3DS and mobile phones in Spring 2017.
