Galaxy Note 7 vs. Galaxy S7 spec shootout – Bigger, better and more awesome

by Jacob Kleinman | August 2, 2016August 2, 2016 9:06 am PST

The Galaxy S7 is a great smartphone, but it just got stomped by Samsung’s next big thing. That’s right, the Galaxy Note 7 is here and it’s ready to claim the Android crown.

The Galaxy Note 7 packs a massive 5.7-inch Quad HD display, compared to the Galaxy S7’s more manageable 5.1-inch panel. It also offers a bigger 3,500mAh battery (up from 3,000mAh). Both devices feature a microSD slot for adding extra storage space and a water-resistant rating, but only the Note 7 comes with an S Pen stylus for quickly jotting down notes.

If you’re looking for the latest and greatest the Galaxy Note 7 is probably the way to go, but if you prefer a smaller handset the Galaxy S7 is still an awesome choice.
