Not even a week has passed since Square Enix revealed its mysterious Apple Watch-exclusive JRPG Cosmos Rings, and it is already available throughout the world. Players in the United States, Canada, the UK, and Japan can all download it today! We’ve been wondering how Square Enix was able to cram an RPG onto your wrist, and new trailers and descriptions give a better look at how the game works.

The game claims to be a full blown JRPG that uses both time and the number of steps you take in a day to push the story forward. Now, you’ll genuinely understand the fear of random encounters that all your Final Fantasy heroes had to suffer through in every adventure. Gameplay revolves around balancing normal attacks and magic attacks, and both your character and swords can be powered up through experience points.

The game can also interact with an iPhone for an easy-to-use interface.

Interesting. I’m really into the game’s pixel art style, but I’ll need to buy an Apple Watch if I’m ever going to play it.
