And just when you thought walking around town, staring into your smartphone and catching adorable monsters was about to become socially acceptable, the Pokémon GO Plus accessory had to come back into our memories. Sadly, it’s now delayed until September.

If you forget, Pokémon GO Plus is a device that will connect to the game through Bluetooth and send warnings through LED when PokéStops and Pokémon are near.

No reason for the delay was given, but I think it’s safe to assume that Nintendo and The Pokémon Company were not expecting the game to be such a huge success. It likely needs to step up production to ensure there are enough units for players.

The device will cost $34.99 when it launches.
