TechCrunch was the victim of an attack from OurMine this morning, made evident by an “important message” posted by the hacking group that tried to advertise its security services.

“Hello Guys, don’t worry we are just testing techcrunch security, we didn’t change any passwords, please contact us on https://ourmine.org/news/contactus, Thanks,” a post from OurMine read. It doesn’t appear any damage was done and Engadget, also owned by Engadget, said TechCrunch is still investigating the attack but that “the situation is under control right now.”

OurMine has made its name recently by attacking high-profile targets ranging from Pokémon GO servers to Google CEO Sundar Pichai, Mark Zuckerberg and PlayStation exec Shuhei Yoshida.
