Wearable shipments have been taking a dive as the world waits for Apple’s second-generation smartwatch. Now a new report reveals that the rumored Apple Watch 2 could arrive in just a few more months.

Apple is reportedly set to unveil a new Apple Watch this fall in September or October, according to DigiTimes. That would drop the Apple Watch 2 right in the company’s busy holiday season alongside the latest iPhone and iPad models. The original model was announced in September 2014 but didn’t hit stores until April 2015.

Before you throw your old Apple Watch in the trash it’s worth noting that DigiTimes doesn’t exactly have the best track record when it comes to leaking Apple news. The report also notes that component orders for wearable devices haven’t started to increase yet. So it could be a while before the smartwatch actually enters production

We still don’t know what to expect from the second-generation Apple Watch, though battery life is one area where the gadget could use some improvement. It’s possible the company could pull that off using micro-LED technology acquired back in 2014. Rumor has it Apple could also add a cellular connection so you can make calls and send text messages without a synced iPhone. Either way, we may know pretty soon, though like we said you’ll probably want to treat this rumor with a grain of salt for now.
