Xbox One gets a price drop to $249 for the 500GB model

There are two kinds of Xbox One consoles right now. Cheap and small. The small one is available next week, on August 2. The cheap one, on the other hand, is available now.

All 500GB Xbox One consoles are just $249 right now, “while supplies last.” Microsoft said in the official news post that this applies to any and all 500GB Xbox One bundles.

This includes the Gears of War Ultimate Edition bundle, the Quantum Break bundle that includes a white Xbox One console, and the Name Your Game bundle, which allows you to choose from Forza Motorsport 6, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, or Rare Replay. Drop the money for an Xbox Live Gold subscription and an EA Access subscription and you’re looking at a huge amount of gaming for a tantalizingly low price.

Again, this deal is only available “while supplies last,” so if it’s appealing, you might not want to wait. If you have a 4K television, though, you might want to hang on for the Xbox One S, which includes 4K upscaling and HDR color, and releases on August 2.
