Three years after its successful relaunch, Final Fantasy XIV is still expanding its userbase to respectable sizes. Square Enix has confirmed that the game has accrued over 6 million players in that time frame.

This figure excludes players who played it during a free trial time period or played for under 30 days… like myself.

Final Fantasy XIV’s success is well deserved considering it is one of the most gorgeous, balanced, and simply fun MMORPGs on the planet and the best Final Fantasy game in over a decade.
