Pokémon GO 3D printed battery case looks like an authentic Pokédex

I’ve seen a lot of ways the Pokémon GO crowd has attempted to thwart the inevitable battery drainage that could ruin a perfectly good afternoon of Pokémon hunting, and this is undoubtedly the coolest.

Thanks to electronics site Sparkfun, the world now has access to the most realistic looking and functioning Pokédex in history. It comes with all the flashing lights, can hold a Galaxy S4 to play Pokémon GO, and it is able to tuck away a 2,600 mAh battery into the side, allowing for even longer hours of nerdy Pokémon hunting fun.

Don’t worry. With the way people are playing this game, this is the one time in life using a Pokédex will actually make you look cool

Be sure to check out Sparkfun’s website for the blueprints and a more in-depth look.
