BlackBerry is currently hosting a security summit in New York City where CEO John Chen and the company’s partners are discussing the company’s continued progress in the space. BlackBerry hasn’t unveiled any devices yet, but it will as soon.

According to CrackBerry, BlackBerry CEO John Chen said the company will talk about new devices sometime next week. The comment was made while Chen was trying to address the company’s services business but felt the need to address an elephant in the room: new smartphones. “People always ask me about handsets, but we do a lot more than handsets,” Chen said according to CrackBerry. “We believe everything we do is going to be important to the industry,” he said, ending the conversation on new hardware and pushing back into services discussions.

No word on what BlackBerry hardware is coming next week, but it might be the rumored BlackBerry Neon that’s expected this month. The Neon allegedly runs Android and features relatively entry-level hardware including a Snapdragon 617 processor, a 5.2-inch 1080p display and a 13MP camera.
