Xiaomi has officially confirmed plans for a big event on July 27 after teasing a new product unveiling earlier this month. The company hasn’t revealed any details, but we already have a few ideas of what to expect.
There are actually two exciting Xiaomi phones reportedly in the works. First up is the flagship Mi Note 2, which could be the company’s most powerful smartphone yet. It allegedly features a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a Snapdragon 821 processor, a 3,700mAh battery, a 12-megapixel rear camera, a fingerprint scanner, 64/128GB of storage and 4/6GB of RAM.
If you’re looking for something a little cheaper Xiaomi is also apparently working on the latest version of its budget-friendly Redmi series. The Redmi 4 could pack a sleek metal design, dual rear cameras, a fingerprint scanner and some mid-range internal hardware for under $200.
It’s possible Xiaomi could unveil either one of those rumored devices or both at its event later this month in China. Then again, the company might also surprise us with something else entirely. We’ll have all the news here once it hits, along with any other big rumors that may surface in the meantime.
