The San Diego Country Sheriff’s Department has confirmed that two men fell off a cliff in North County while playing Pokémon GO.

The initial reports came from San Diego Lifeguards as they said one man had fallen off a cliff around 1pm. When the rescue workers came, they found the first man roughly 90 feet down from the cliff on the beach and the second man around 50 feet down.

The severity of their injuries was not reported.

The men were 21 and 22-years-old, and the San Diego County Sheriff’s Deputies say at least one of the men “may have consumed alcohol,” according to NBC San Diego.

Look, Pokémon GO is fun. I get it. Just take it easy, play smart, keep yourself in safe spaces and please, watch where you’re going.
