T-Mobile Pokemon

T-Mobile knows how to spot a good wave to ride. Must be the HM-03 they found. The “un-carrier” has announced, as part of T-Mobile Tuesdays, that customers who want to play Pokémon GO can do so for a year without worrying about it eating into their data plan.

The deal will be good from next Tuesday until Aug. 9, 2017. Quick warning: you’ll have to apply for the free data each and every Tuesday for the entire year.

For the good of the sport, 250 players who take advantage will get $100 dollars worth of Pokémon GO goods, and T-Mobile will pay for five players to travel anywhere they like to take part in a Pokémon GO hunt.

If that’s not enough incentive, customers also get a $15 Lyft ride and *gasp* a free Frosty from Wendy’s! A ride to your nearest Pokémon hot spot and then free calories to burn with all the walking around you do!
