Night Dive Studios has succeeded in securing funding for its System Shock remaster over on Kickstarter. With 17 days remaining, the company currently sits at $944,000, and all the remaining money will be going to stretch goals.

Currently, System Shock will only be released for the PC when it hits the market in 2017. However, the first stretch goal fires off at the $1,100,000 mark, and that will secure the release of Mac and Linux versions as well.

Currently, the company has no plans for a console port, but again, it depends on how much money can be secured in the next two weeks.

If you haven’t played it yet, Night Dive Studios has uploaded a demo of the game to three major retailers, and it is available for free. No donation to the Kickstarter required.
