HTC Desire 10 said to launch later this summer

HTC released its best phone in recent memory earlier this year with the HTC 10. Now it turns out the company could be following that up with a cheaper HTC Desire 10 coming later this summer.

The news comes from reliable leaker Evan Blass, who shared the latest info over the weekend on Twitter.

Late Q3 likely means the device will launch sometime in September. Blass also revealed the phone’s rear camera module. It appears to feature a bit of a hump in the design with a gold rim around the lens. There’s also a dual flash and an additional sensor beside it, just like on the HTC 10.

The Desire lineup typically focuses on budget-friendly prices with stylish plastic designs. We’re guessing the HTC Desire 10 will do the same, though it may offer an upgraded camera like the HTC 10. The rest of the hardware is still a total mystery, but we may learn more soon as the device’s rumored launch draws nearer.
