Galaxy Note 7 price revealed… start saving now

We already know what the Galaxy Note 7 will look like and what it has to offer, but how much will Samsung’s next phone cost? A new report claims to reveal the starting price for the upcoming flagship phablet.

The Galaxy Note 7 will cost €849 (about $937) in Europe, according to SamMobile and its inside sources. That’s €50 more than the Galaxy S7 Edge. Samsung’s Note series has always commanded a higher price, but the company’s new focus on curved display technology seems to be pushing those prices even higher.

The Galaxy Note 7 will apparently only come in a curved edge variant with a 5.7-inch Quad HD display. It’s also expected to pack an iris scanner, USB-C, a bigger battery, and up to 6GB of RAM (though leaked benchmarks show it with just 4GB of RAM instead). Otherwise, it could offer a pretty similar setup to the current Galaxy S7 Edge, which may mean a water-resistant metal design and expandable storage

That should add up to a pretty awesome device, and it may be worth the steep price. Still, with cheaper flagship phones like the OnePlus 3 offering similar hardware for half the price, Samsung could have some tough competition when the Galaxy Note 7 launches this summer.
