Cersei actress: This is who I hope murders me in Game of Thrones

I don’t want you coming to my house with pitchforks so, spoiler alert. Stop reading if you’re going to get angry.

Spoiler’s ahead in case you didn’t get catch the drift.

The actress who plays Cersei, Lena Headey, recently sat down with Entertainment Weekly and talked about her character on the show and who she hopes kills her off. Headey thought outside of the box, or prophecy I should say, for her first choice of murderer.

Headey told Entertainment Weekly that she wants a “great death by Arya,” who scarred us for life with her delivery of human pie at the end of Season 6. Of course, the prophecy from Maggy the Frog said that Cersei will outlive her kids (that’s true now), and will ultimately fall at the hands of a brother.

“And when your tears have drowned you, the valonqar shall wrap his hands about your pale white throat and choke the life from you,” the prophecy reads. Valonqar means “little brother” in High Valyrian, which has most pundits pointing to either Tyrion or her lover, Jaime Lannister, who may be mad that Cersei managed to indirectly kill their last remaining child, coming in for the choke-hold.

“No one would relish her death as much as he would,” Headey said of Tyrion taking the last breath from Cersei, suggesting he might be her second choice.

That would follow along with the prophecy, while Arya as the murder would not. Given that HBO sticks to its own storyline, though, anything could happen to the returned Queen of Westeros. Maybe my boy Gregor ” The Mountain” Clegane will get another kill under the ol’ belt. Did you know that dude deadlifts like 900lbs in real life?
