Authorities in Riverton, Wyoming say a young woman stumbled upon a dead body while playing the popular mobile game Pokémon Go. According to a KTVQ report, Shayla Wiggins, 19, made the gruesome discovery at approximately 8:40 a.m. on Friday while searching for a Pokémon at a “natural water resource.”

“I was walking towards the bridge along the shore when I saw something in the water,” Wiggins explained. “I had to take a second look and I realized it was a dead body.”

The body, apparently an average size male, was thought to have been there for less than 24 hours, according to investigators; no other information was released because the investigation is still ongoing.

“I was pretty scared and cried for a while,” Wiggins said after the incident.

Pokémon Go has experienced a less-than-stellar launch thus far. If it isn’t shaky servers, the app is directing people to places they shouldn’t be. Worse, the Department of Transportation in Washington apparently had to issue a warning encouraging people not to play the game while behind the wheel.

Be careful out there.
