Check out these HTC Nexus renders, now with some color

by Brandon Russell | July 8, 2016July 8, 2016 11:45 am PDT

Earlier this week, we got our first glimpse of what Google’s next Nexus device could look like. Now, more concept render have hit the web, showing off how big of an influence HTC’s previous design language is having on these rumored handsets.

Granted, these images are based on what Android Police already shared, but they provide a nice example of what the devices might look like when given a splash of color. Dibs on the red one.

The renders that were shared earlier this week might not even be the final design, so don’t get your hopes up just yet. That being said, I don’t think anyone will complain about what HTC is cooking up. I’m not completely sold on the “Zorro” mask on the back of the device—what is that, plastic?—but it’s still very sleek, particularly in black.

If you want an idea of what to expect from these alleged HTC-made Nexus devices, check out the links down below. Both sound like they’ll be wonderful additions to Google’s strong lineup of smartphones. Let’s hope the red Nexus makes a comeback this fall.
