iOS 10 public beta out today, anyone can try it!

by Todd Haselton | July 7, 2016July 7, 2016 8:25 am PDT

Apple will release the first public beta of iOS 10 today, according to 9to5Mac. The company has been testing beta versions of iOS 10 with developers, most recently releasing iOS 10 beta 2, but it seems the software is starting to get stable enough to let the public play along with it until the final release in September.

iOS 10 offers sweeping changes to the operating system with new widgets that operate in a side panel and on the lock screen, a new “Home” application that lets you control HomeKit certified applications in your home, a brand new iMessage interface with interactive chats and stickers, new functions for 3D Touch and so much more. For a better idea of what to expect, you can check out our video of the iOS 10 beta tour, which I’ve included below.

We’ll let you know when the beta is officially live, but it should be soon. Keep checking the link below in the meantime.
