To say that backwards compatibility for Red Dead Redemption was highly anticipated was an understatement. Fans have been
demanding requesting the release on Xbox One for a long time, and after the announcement yesterday, fans responded wildly with their wallets.
Over on Amazon, Red Dead Redemption closed out the day with the top two spots as the best selling video game. The original version spiked at 6,242 percent sales from the previous day, and the Game of the Year Edition, which includes all DLC and the Undead Nightmare expansion, rose to 2,052 percent.
Red Dead Redemption will be available through backwards compatibility with the Xbox One on July 8, this Friday.
