Virtue's Last Reward

Fresh off the critical success of Zero Time Dilemma for the PS Vita, Nintendo 3DS, and PC through Steam, Aksys Games confirmed at Anime Expo 2016 that it would be bringing the game’s two predecessors to new platforms.

Both 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors and Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward were confirmed to be getting a port to new systems, but Aksys stopped short of stating exactly which ones.

But deep down inside, we all know that it is Steam. Last month, even Director Kotaro Uchikoshi hinted that his games were coming to Steam with the opening of developer Spike Chunsoft’s own English page.

9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors was released back in 2010 as the first game in Spike Chusoft’s visual novel series, and it followed up with the critical hit Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward in 2012 for the Nintendo 3DS and PS Vita. I have not played either of these games, and in my review, I warned those looking to play Zero Time Dilemma to check them out first.

With this potential announcement, doing that should prove to be easier than ever.
