Google finally confirmed the final name for Android N yesterday. It’ll be called Android Nougat, if you missed the news. HTC had already promised to update its batch of flagships to the latest software when Google releases it, but the company wanted to reiterate that it’ll update to Android Nougat, in case you forgot.
HTC posted the following on Twitter, confirming the update will launch for the HTC 10, One A9 and One M9:
So sweet. Android Nougat—the next version of Google’s Android—will be coming to the HTC 10, HTC One A9 & HTC One M9. pic.twitter.com/cB5S2zv0PW

Keep in mind that devices sold through U.S. carriers will need carrier approval first, and that can sometimes take many months. You’re better off if you owned an unlocked version of these phones.
