MetroPCS to finally offer iPhone beginning tomorrow

You might not know it, but MetroPCS does not currently sell the iPhone. That will change beginning July 1, when the T-Mobile MVNO begins selling Apple’s iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone SE and the iPhone 5s beginning in Florida. The carrier said it will begin selling iPhones across the United States “soon,” but didn’t provide more accurate timing.

MetroPCS, just in case you’re not familiar, is a pre-paid network operated by T-Mobile (it’s a T-Mobile brand) and provides affordable prepaid data, calling and texting plans. You’ll need to pay full cost for the iPhones, as is common on prepaid carriers, so expect to walk in ready to drop some dough. The iPhone 6s will start at $649 while the iPhone 6s Plus will set you back $749. The more affordable iPhone SE is priced at $349 or you can pick up an iPhone 5s for just $199.

Think you’ll make a move to MetroPCS now that it has iPhones?
