Batman: Return to Arkham delayed, Warner Bros. gives no new launch date

Warner Bros. has decided to delay the upcoming Batman: Return to Arkham bundle, citing the progress that the project has made as its reasoning. The bundle is set to include remasters of both Batman: Arkham City and Batman: Arkham Knight using Unreal Engine 4, and it was originally planned to be released on July 29.

The company made the announcement through its official forums, leaving this message with fans.

After reviewing the progress of the project, the team at WB Games has decided to delay the release of Batman: Return to Arkham to give the team at Virtuous Games additional time to deliver a polished Batman Arkham game experience.

We do not have a release date yet and will be sure to communicate that once we are sure the game will be ready.

We know this is disappointing news, but we feel the extra time will allow the team to create the best gaming experience for our fans.

Batman: Return to Arkham will be released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
