Overwatch pulled in some serious scratch in May, according to reports. Before we even get to the stupidly high numbers, remember that Overwatch dropped on May 24, meaning that this revenue was earned in a week.

According to researcher SuperdataOverwatch was the top digital earner for the PC platform in May 2016. For consoles, that honor goes to Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. Here’s the chart the researcher issued.

Superdata indicates Overwatch earned $269 million in digital revenue across both the PC and console versions of the title. That means digital sales of the game and purchases of loot boxes. Superdata compares Overwatch to 2K’s Battleborn, a practice I still don’t understand, noting that Battleborn only earned $18 million in May.

There’s more data on the other titles in the source link below.

Blizzard must be proud of Overwatch‘s performance. I can’t stop playing the game, though I don’t see myself ever spending scratch on loot boxes.
