Rumor has it LeEco is prepping a crazy new smartphone with 8GB of RAM. Now the Chinese company has officially set the date for an event next week where the rumored Le Max 2 Pro will likely make its debut.
LeEco’s big event is happening on Tuesday, June 29 in China. The company doesn’t mention the Le Max 2 Pro by name, but it does tease a new smartphone. It also promises an exciting announcement, which lines up with everything we’ve heard so far about the device.
Beyond the outrageously awesome 8GB of RAM, the Le Max 2 Pro may pack a Snapdragon 821 chip and a 25-megapixel rear camera. Based on leaked images, it also sports a fingerprint reader in back, and comes in silver, blue or red with a sleek metal design.
LeEco’s new phone is shaping to be a real beast, though some of those rumored specs still sound a little too good to be true. Thankfully we should have an official rundown of the new smartphone by this time next week so stay tuned.
