OnePlus may be an exciting startup with its own brand and identity, but it’s also backed by a larger Chinese corporation called BBK Electronics. Now, BBK, which also owns Oppo and Vivo, looks set to reveal a fourth smartphone brand called “Imoo.”

A recently established Weibo page reveals a few interesting details. Imoo’s first device appears to focus on education and the student market. The design is slim and metallic with a gold finish and what looks like a physical “record” button on the side. That could be great for recording lectures in class, or any other time you want to remember exactly what someone is saying.

The company also hints at a big announcement coming on June 24. It’s unclear if that means an official unveiling or just another teaser, but we should know pretty soon. The device appears to be aimed exclusively at China, but that could change too. We’ll let you know just as soon as any more interesting information comes out.
