These are the Xbox Play Anywhere games that have been announced so far

At E3 2016, Microsoft announced the Play Anywhere program. Sort of like Sony’s Cross-Buy feature for the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita, Play Anywhere means that games purchased digitally will work on both the Xbox One and Windows 10 platforms.

That goes for DLC and Season Passes for each of the games under the banner, too.

Microsoft revealed a list of 12 games that will support Play Anywhere. Here’s the rundown, alphabetically.

  • Ark: Survival Evolved
  • Crackdown 3
  • Cuphead
  • Forza Horizon 3
  • Gears of War 4
  • Halo Wars 2
  • Killer Instinct Season 3
  • ReCore
  • Scalebound
  • Sea of Thieves
  • State of Decay 2
  • We Happy Few

I could easily see wanting to take advantage of this program forĀ Cuphead andĀ Halo Wars 2. Having those games on both my PC and Xbox One sounds fantastic. The others? I’ll wait until some performance stuff comes out moving forward.
