Dead Rising 4’s Xbox and Windows exclusivity deal to last one year

by Joey Davidson | June 17, 2016

Dead Rising 4, as it stands right now, is exclusive to the Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs. When it launches, those are the platforms it’ll hit, and they’re the only ones that Capcom has announced for the title.

That won’t stop fans from asking if and when it’ll drop on the PlayStation 4. One such fan asked that question on Twitter, and Capcom Vancouver tossed him a response that made it seem like a release on other platforms is in the cards, albeit only if we make some assumptions.

On Twitter, a Daily Mirror writer added that they were told that Dead Rising 4‘s Xbox and Windows 10 exclusivity has an expiration date. That is, Microsoft’s platforms own exclusive rights to this one for one year after its initial release. From there, we might see it release on Steam or other platforms.

As of now, let’s assume this is a Microsoft exclusive title.
