Apple’s Public Beta site is down, which means the public can’t currently visit to register for testing the latest versions of iOS. It also means that Apple is probably going to update it with something new – perhaps the Public Beta test of iOS 10.

9to5Mac, which first noticed the site is down, said that “there’s a chance” we’ll all get our sweaty, anxious hands on the new mobile operating system later today, but suggests that it might not happen. Rather, the site believes that Apple will release the first beta for developers and a public beta a month or so from now. That sounds about right to us, but maybe we’ll get lucky.

We will almost certainly see iOS 10 today, though, which is exciting enough.
