Microsoft opened up their E3 2016 presentation with a long look at Gears of War 4. That look featured plenty of gameplay, something we’ve been missing so far at this year’s E3 pressers.
The game looks pretty cool. It’s part of the newly announce Xbox Play Anywhere program, which means that digital purchases will offer players access to the title on both the PC and Xbox One.
The storm that rolls into the gameplay footage is an awesome moment. This easily tops what they showed at last year’s presentation, and that means gamers are definitely more excited for Gears 4 now than they were before.
Then the gnarly beast bursts through the door, ending the gameplay footage. And then? Then we hear Marcus Fenix. Yep, looks fantastic.
We don’t have a release date yet for Gears of War 4, but stay tuned.
