Eagle Flight, Ubisoft’s VR flying game, shown off at E3 2016

Ubisoft welcomed Oculus Founder Palmer Luckey to their stage at E3 2016 in order to show off Eagle Flight, their VR effort.

This is a PVP, VR, capture the flag game. At least, that’s the case for the mode the folks on stage played. We saw them fly all over the map, moving through trees, in between buildings and all over as they tried to grab a rabbit and bring it back to their base.

The flying looked super intense in moments with tight turns and tons of obstacles, though the actual combat didn’t look all that compelling. There were bumps and blasts of wind, though neither were all that thrilling.

Still, as a PVP VR title, Eagle Flight looks pretty awesome. Will you have enough VR capable friends to play it?

Eagle Flight is due out this fall.
