Here’s your first look at Disney’s Moana, featuring The Rock

Disney Animation has released the first teaser for its next big animated release, Moana, and it looks every bit as good as Big Hero 6 and Zootopia. Starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and newcomer Auli’i Cravalho, Moana follows a young navigator who sets sail for a fabled island. On her journey, she runs into the legendary demi-god Maui, played by Johnson.

We don’t get a look at too much of the film—quick cuts of some truly incredible animation—but we get enough of a sense of what the movie’s about. Last year at Disney’s D23 event, the studio explained Moana was meant to showcase Polynesian culture and their connection to the sea. Well, true to their word, that’s exactly what’s being shown off in this early footage.

Moana is set for a Nov. 23, 2016 release.
