Lenovo just unveiled a bunch of new Moto-branded gadgets, but it looks like the company may have a few products left to reveal. A fresh leak reveals a third mid-range “Moto Z Play” device along with two more Moto Mod attachments.
The images above come from Motorola leaker hellomotoHK, who’s been a pretty reliable source in the past. They show the alleged Moto Z Play, referred to here by its codename “vertex.” It’s placed right next to the Moto Z (vector thin) and Moto Z Force (vector maxx).
A separate leak shared on Chinese social network Weibo claims to reveal the Moto Z Play’s mid-range hardware. The device apparently packs a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a Snapdragon 625 processor, a 16-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage and a massive 3600mAh battery. It’s unclear if this device will support Moto Mod attachments, but considering it offers the same 5.5-inch screen size that seems pretty likely.
Speaking of which, it looks like Lenovo has two more Moto Mods in the works. There’s a Pro Camera attachment, which lines up with earlier leaks. There’s also an “Adventure” backplate that promises to waterproof the device.
There’s no word on when any of these rumored products will actually launch. But assuming Lenovo hasn’t scrapped them entirely we may see the Moto Z Play and these unannounced Moto Mods officially unveiled later this year.
