The iPhone 7 is expected to be a bit of a letdown with a few new features but no major redesign in sight. We’re still expecting Apple to come through with a beautiful new device, though, and a new concept design shows how the company could do just that.
The renders come from Martin Hajek, who has made a name for himself with stunning concept designs in the past. These iPhone 7 images certainly don’t disappoint, revealing how a handful of small changes can add up to something great. That includes the missing headphone jack and repositioned antenna bands. A dual rear camera and a Smart Connector port are allegedly limited to the iPhone 7 Plus.
The iPhone 7 is also expected to pack a new A10 processor and 2GB of RAM, while the iPhone 7 Plus could jump to 3GB of RAM. Apple could also ditch its 16GB storage options and offer up to 256GB of space on the new Plus-sized model.
Added up, all those changes actually sound like a pretty sweet upgrade, especially if you’re still holding onto an older iPhone. But, if you want a totally new design, you’ll likely have to wait until next year when Apple will allegedly reveal a bezel-less smartphone where the Touch ID button and front-facing camera are built right into the display.
