The OnePlus 3 is set to arrive later this month and it looks like the new phone will pack a solid new camera to match. A recent set of photo samples from OnePlus CEO Pete Lau cover two of the most important tests for mobile photography: selfies and food.
The OnePlus 3 camera samples were recently shared on Chinese social network Weibo, though most of them were quickly deleted. Thankfully, Indian site PriceRaja managed to grab a few quick screenshots and they look great. The food photos reveal an impressive rear camera capable of picking up tiny details and textures, and that selfie looks nice, too, though we already saw it a few weeks back.
The OnePlus 3 is expected to pack a 16-megapixel rear camera with a small rear flash module and an 8-megapixel shooter in front. The device should also offer a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a Snapdragon 820 chip and NFC. It may cost as little as $308, with more expensive variants offering up to 6GB of RAM.
OnePlus is set to unveil its new phone on June 14 with sales starting later that day. The company’s also finally killing its universally hated invitation system and apparently plans to have one million units in stock at launch. So it should be relatively easy to get your hands on the OnePlus 3 once it hits the market in a few short weeks.
