Android users can now test the latest Google Maps features before anyone else

Want to test the latest version of Google Maps? Now you can. The company has launched a public initiative that lets regular users like you and I try out the latest features in its mapping software. All you need to do is enroll in Google Play.

You also need to be willing to put up with some bugs here and there, since these are going to be beta builds of Google Maps, after all. That’s particularly worrisome for me, since I rely on Google Maps almost every single time I get in the car. I can’t deal with Google Maps crashing or other bugs, so I probably won’t be joining the beta problem.
