The Last Guardian’s wondrous soundtrack on display in making of featurette

While you’re navigating Fumito Ueda and Team ICO’s latest world alongside a giant bird-dog-creature, you’ll be accompanied by a soundtrack that seems positively stupendous.

IGN has a short video up in its First series that goes a bit into the “crafting” of The Last Guardian‘s soundtrack.

Composer Takeshi Furukawa has a relatively sparse background of credits. Diving into his IMDb page reveals a list with work on shows like Star Wars: The Clone Wars, but most of his history has been in shorts and documentaries.

Still, what’s put on display in the video above is quite fantastic, and The Last Guardian seems like it’ll be a genuine aural treat. We’ll have more on the game, especially during E3 in a couple of weeks, as it comes.
