Sony on Tuesday announced when its revamped Xperia X lineup is coming to the U.S., from the low-end Xperia XA all the way up to a brand new flagship known as the Xperia X Performance. You may remember these devices were originally revealed at Mobile World Congress earlier this year.
For a refresher on what these different devices have to offer, check out our previous coverage of the Xperia X lineup. Sony’s new family is meant to be a classier, more refined replacement for its storied Z lineup, which produced some winners during its time.
Here is a list of both device availability and pricing. All prices and dates are for the U.S.
- Xperia X: $549.99, June 26
- Xperia XA: $279.99, July 17
- Xperia X Performance: $699.99, July 17
- Xperia XA Ultra: $369.99, July 24
Prices range quite a bit, so it’s just a matter of what you’re looking to get out of your device of choice. Sony provided TechnoBuffalo with the Xperia X, and even though it’s not a top-of-the-line phone, it feels quick, light and very capable.
Of course, no matter which device you choose, it’ll be the camera that helps sell Sony over the competition. That’s something we’ll talk more about soon. In the meantime, which Xperia X device do you have your eye on?
