PlayStation Plus for June features basketball and an empty house

While Xbox Live’s Games with Gold is busy simulating goats and Super Meat Boys, PlayStation Plus has its own set of offerings.

Headlining the list are NBA 2K16 and Gone Home.

NBA 2K16 is the most recent entry in the NBA 2K series, and features a variety of on and offline modes, including a story directed by Spike Lee. Gone Home is the indie darling from development studio Fullbright (formerly The Fullbright Company) that has you returning home to an empty, seemingly abandoned house, left to discover just what’s gone on.

This month’s PlayStation Plus lineup features no crossover titles, interestingly, as almost nearly every month previous has had some multiplatform game or another. Here’s the whole line-up:

  • NBA 2K16, PS4
  • Gone Home: Console Edition, PS4
  • Echochrome, PS3
  • Siren: Blood Curse (Episodes 1-12), PS3
  • God of War: Chains of Olympus, PS Vita
  • Little Deviants, PS Vita

Action, horror, puzzles, sports games make for pretty good variety. If PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live Games with Gold are you primary sources of gaming, then it looks like there should be plenty to do if you have more than one of the systems.
