Last week, the OnePlus 3 passed through Chinese certification that revealed a long list of hardware and a few nice photos of the flagship phone. Now, a second version of the device has been spotted at the TENAA, revealing some even more impressive specs.
This premium OnePlus 3 packs 6GB of RAM (up from the 4GB model we previously saw), along with the same 64GB of storage. The filing doesn’t reveal any other hardware details, but we’re assuming it will match up pretty closely with earlier leaks. That means a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a Snapdragon 820 processor, a 16-megapixel rear camera, an 8-megapixel shooter in front and a 3,000mAh battery.
The OnePlus 3 is also expected to adopt a new design, ditching the company’s unique sandstone coating for a sleek metal finish. The new leak seems to confirm that switch, revealing a polished handset that definitely borrows some inspiration from HTC’s flagship One series.
OnePlus is expected to unveil its latest smartphone on June 14 with a special virtual reality presentation and shopping experience. The company even offered a free specially made Loop VR viewer to experience the unveiling. OnePlus clearly has something exciting planned for next month.
