Great, more Nintendo “reports.” I’ll believe these rumors when I see them, and in the meantime, I’m more than happy to share them with you and let you pass judgement on them for yourself.
This latest comes from Japanese investor site Trader’s Web, which apparently has dug up a little extra information from a recent Nintendo financial report. This information says that the company is also working on a new handheld gaming platform alongside the upcoming NX console.
Trader’s Web found the code-name for the handheld “MH” in a Nintendo Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley report. Of course, Nintendo isn’t going to comment on such speculation.
That’s it. That’s the report. I don’t know if I buy it or not, but I’m more than happy to get a replacement for my Nintendo 3DS if that’s the next step in my gaming future. No doubt, I’ll be re-buying all that games I already paid for through Virtual Console for a potential forth or fifth time as well, so go ahead, Nintendo. Keep dangling me by my ankles for nostalgia money.
I’m good for it.
Gaming industry consultant Dr. Serkan Toto did have this to say about the MH rumors.
2) Such "rich" forward-looking analysis and also the wording is standard in investor notes. I know because I read *tons* of them ;).

More from Nintendo if it has anything to officially say on this. If it doesn’t, don’t ever expect Nintendo to utter the letters MH together again. Nintendo fans never forget.
