Xiaomi started promoting its upcoming Mi Drone this week with an initial teaser image. Now the company’s ready to set the date with an official unveiling booked for May 25 at 7 p.m. in China.

The new teaser also offers a look at what could be the actual drone. A zoomed in picture still maintains some of the mystery but it does reveal a few new details. Viewed from below, the Mi Drone sports a big orb-shaped camera and plenty of propellers to keep it in the air.

Based on earlier leaks, we’re expecting the Mi Drone to sport a 4K camera, which suggests this could be a pretty powerful device. Xiaomi’s traditionally offered high-end products at impressively low prices and we hope that’s the plan for its first drone.

With the official unveiling less than a week away, we should know all the details pretty soon. Be sure to check back on the 25th for all the info Xiaomi reveals, including the Mi Drone price, release date and where it will be available.
