The release of The Witcher 3‘s final expansion, Blood and Wine, is less than two weeks out, and the more CD Projekt Red shows us, the better it looks.
This week, we have a tour of sorts, as a narrator regales us with everything that makes the expansion’s new land, Toussaint, special. While most of the main game was that version of the dark ages where people are scraping by and living in fear, Blood and Wine contrasts with the other version – the one that Renaissance Festivals all over the place remind us of; whimsy and color are everywhere. The version we imagine when we want to have a giant turkey leg and a mug of mead.
Whether you’re still finishing up this massive game as we pass its one-year anniversary or you’re diving back in, it looks like The Witcher 3‘s Blood and Wine is going to provide tons of new stuff to do. Even if that all sounds boring, there’s this huge, fresh new world to explore, and it looks cool as hell.
