A brand new Overwatch short debuts, Hanzo and Genji in “Dragons”

Blizzard has released yet another Overwatch short. Not counting the introduction cinematic that debuted along side the game a couple years back, this is the third short in recent succession.

Titled “Dragons,” the eight minute clip dives into a little bit of the shared backstory of Genji, the cyborg Ninja, and Hanzo, the archer. The two are brothers, it turns out, and this is not the first time they’ve clashed.

Of the three that have releasd so far, I’ll easily place “Dragons” as my least favorite. That’s not to say the short isn’t good. It is good, in fact, it’s just that Winston’s short and Tracer’s short are both that much better.

It’s like ranking doughnuts. I love all doughnuts, just that some are better than others.

With doughnuts out of the way, let’s get to release date. Overwatch hits the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on May 24, 2016. It will also see more of these shorts release well after launch. We’ll have more on the game as it comes.
