The next Overwatch shorts to feature Hanzo, Genji and Soldier: 76, coming to a theater near you

Blizzard recently announced a special pre-launch “celebration” for the upcoming Overwatch. This Sunday, Cinemark theaters around the U.S. will screen a special Overwatch event. It will, according to the word from Blizzard, feature “a collection of Overwatch cinematics, hero trailers, and animated shorts.”

That includes two brand new shorts. One features Genji and Hanzo, which I only now learned are brothers. The other short will feature Soldier: 76.

So far, everything from the expanded lore universe of Overwatch has been solid gold. That includes the comics and the previously released, character-focused shorts. Here are the two that have come out so far, not counting the reveal cinematic.

We’ll have the new shorts as they come.

Check the site in the source link below for a way to check out this theater event at a Cinemark cinema near you. It will cost $10 a ticket and features swag; however, 100 viewers are required to reserve tickets in order for the showing to hit your theater.

Overwatch releases on May 24, 2016 for the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
