iOS 10 concept knocks our socks off with new notifications, gestures, multitasking

Apple will almost certainly introduce iOS 10 during WWDC 2016 in June. We don’t really know what CEO Tim Cook and his team have planned just yet – maybe there will be sweeping changes, or maybe Apple will be more conservative in its update. Without knowing too much about what Apple has up its sleeves, one concept artist created his take on iOS 10. published the video you see below, which imagines several new features in iOS 10. One option, for example, is to swipe down on the App Store application to begin updating all apps. I prefer having them update automatically, but I digress. This function is also applied to messages, where a user can view and respond to messages – again, something that 3D Touch might be able to enable (and already sort of offers, for that matter.) iPhone-Tricks imagines a dark mode, too, replacing all of the white areas with black.

Other features include personalized notifications with different colors for various apps, widgets on the lock screen, new actionable notifications and more. Lots of fun stuff to dream about, but there’s no any indication any of this is actually coming from Apple. Check out the video above, and be sure to check out this iOS 10 concept for another take.
